Zanzibar is well known for having some of the best scuba diving in the world, the coral reefs surrounding Unguja and Pemba are home to an abundance of marine life. An average year round water temperature of 27 C and great visibility of 20 to 60 meters guarantee a great Zanzibar scuba diving experience and also offers a perfect opportunity to learn how to dive.

Diving in Zanzibar is not limited to beginners; experienced scuba divers can enjoy thrilling wall dives, drift dives as well as night dives. In deeper waters, thriving coral gardens stretch as far as the eye can see and large game fish hunt together with big Napoleonic wrasse. The tropical fish can be found in the shallow waters.
